She is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 12 years of experience within the construction industry, first within a professional quantity surveying practice and then in consultancies specializing in the management and resolution of disputes. Her experience covers a broad range of industry sectors, including retail, residential, mixed-use developments, leisure, education, healthcare, rail and infrastructure.

Prior to joining Kroll, Nicola was a director at Blackrock Expert Services, which was acquired by Kroll in 2020.
Nicola specializes in the provision of quantum expert services and has assisted appointed experts in the preparation of expert reports on quantum for arbitration, litigation and adjudication proceedings.
Nicola has delivered commercial management and claim management for a broad range of complex projects, and her experience covers a variety of major standard contract forms and industry sectors. She has had significant involvement in mediation and adjudication proceedings and has worked for both referring parties, as party representative, and responding parties. She has also undertaken cost audits and prepared claim documents including formal quantum submissions, and has undertaken commercial reviews of client accounts to facilitate the negotiation and settlement of final accounts.
Nicola holds a B.S. (Honors) in quantity surveying from the University of Reading and a M.S. in construction law and dispute resolution from King’s College, London.
