Daniel Bushell is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 17 years of construction consultancy experience. He has been involved in every aspect of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and has worked on major projects in the UK, Brazil, China, Italy, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan.

Daniel’s impressive project portfolio includes several projects of considerable international significance, including the Jeddah Tower (formally Kingdom Tower) in Saudi Arabia, two Olympic Games, a World Cup stadium, two Expos, a Premier League stadium, a Serie A Stadium and a theme park, as well as projects in the civil, commercial, education, health, process engineering, residential, retail and shipbuilding industries. This experience enables him to assess, evaluate and opine on the costs associated with large scale, complex projects.

Daniel has supported lead independent experts on large quantum disputes in international arbitration and is experienced in undertaking detailed cost analyses, drafting expert reports and assisting with cross examination preparation at the hearing stage. He has worked for both responding and referring parties in Adjudication.

Daniel holds an MSc in Construction Law and Practice and a Diploma in Adjudication. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Practicing Associate Member of the Academy of Experts.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has appointed Daniel as an assessor for the senior professional route to membership.
